Jivox is a complete platform for interactive video advertising from creative customization to campaign execution and analytics. The Jivox technology enables brand advertisers, digital agencies and publishers to deliver highly engaging video ads powered by interactive and social sharing widgets. Jivox is the only provider that delivers and measures interactive video advertising online and to popular HTML5-compatible mobile devices, including the Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android devices and BlackBerry. Jivox clients license and use the Jivox platform to deliver video ads online, on mobile and tablet devices and manage all aspects of ad operations through an easy-to-use web based interface. Jivox provides campaign performance tracking, brand awareness and purchase intent analytics for advertisers via BrandGage — its proprietary real-time analytics platform. The end result is a better-informed, more engaged customer, improved ad performance and ultimately higher ROI on video ad campaigns. Jivox is used by several hundred leading global brands like Microsoft, Yahoo!, Nokia, General Motors, HP and Google.

Jivox is a privately held company and headquartered in San Mateo, California with offices in Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai in India.

Diaz Nesamoney | Founder, President & CEO

Diaz Nesamoney founder of Jivox has had two prior successful ventures. Before founding Jivox, he founded Celequest, raised over $20M in venture capital, and served as its CEO until early 2007, when the company was acquired by Cognos Corporation. Celequest introduced the market's first BI appliance, a disruptive innovation that led to its acquisition by Cognos. He was previously co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer at Informatica (NASDAQ:INFA), which he took from a startup to a publicly traded company in 1999 with a market capitalization of over a billion dollars. Informatica pioneered data integration software as a category and is now the market leader with over $400M in revenue. Diaz is a board member of the American India Foundation, a leading international development organization charged with the mission of accelerating social and economic change in India. Diaz holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India.


Naren Nachiappan | Managing Director, Jivox India

Naren Nachiappan comes to Jivox from Wind River (NASDAQ:WIND), where as Vice President and General Manager, he was a part of the executive team responsible for reigniting growth and adding over $100 million to the top line in three years. Naren was directly responsible for taking the Device Management business from a concept to a multimillion-dollar revenue rate in under 9 quarters. At Wind River, Naren established the company's first product development team in Bangalore, India, with a zero percent attrition rate through his three-year tenure. Earlier in his career, as CEO of Proceler and as Senior VP at VenturCom (acquired by Citrix), he was responsible for pioneering several industry innovations such as "the first support for automated application acceleration using hybrid SoCs" which resulted in Proceler's nomination for the 2001 MPR Analysts choice award, and the first flight-essential certified UNIX for avionics applications on the Boeing 777. Naren graduated cum laude from Harvard University and holds an MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.


Parth Chandra | Chief Architect

Parth has over 14 years of experience in the software industry in the field of Data Integration and Business Intelligence. Parth has worked most recently at Insights On-Demand, where he was the Chief Architect. Before Insights, he worked at Informatica (NASDAQ:INFA) as a Sr. Software Architect where he was part of the founding team that was responsible for software design and development of their market leading Data Integration products. Prior to Informatica he held software engineering positions at Citicorp Software and Neuron Data where he designed and implemented large scale financial transaction systems and cross platform development environments. Parth holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and an MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.


Ranjit John | Vice President of Engineering

Ranjit is responsible for product engineering and operations at Jivox. Ranjit brings over 15 years of experience in product design and development and significant operational experience with deploying high volume internet applications. Prior to Jivox, Ranjit was the Director of Service Delivery at Kasenna where he was responsible for engineering and delploying IPTV solutions at major service providers all over the world. Before Kasenna, Ranjit was a principal member of technical staff at IBM in the team that created the IBM WebSphere Application Server. Ranjit holds a BS in Physics and Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, India and a PhD in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.


Dinker Charak | Vice President, Partnerships and Operations

Dinker Charak comes to Jivox from Wind River (acquired by Intel), where he lead a globally distributed team of engineers responsible for implementing key functionality in Wind River's Device Management product line, and managed critical customer relationships in the Asia region. At Jivox, he leads the Product Management team in shaping product strategy and defining the roadmap for the Jivox platform. He is also responsible for establishing and driving strategic partnerships, and managing operations, ensuring the successful execution of hundreds of campaigns on the Jivox premium video network. Earlier in his career he worked at Fermilab, a US DoE lab that conducts basic research into particle physics using the 5-mile circumference particle accelerator called Tevatron. At Fermilab, Dinker worked on Control Systems for Tevatron and Data Aquisition for CDF, DZero and Sloan Digital Sky Survey. Through US-CMS, he has also contributed towards LHC at CERN. Prior to that, Dinker did some consulting work at Foxboro/Invensys. Dinker has done Master in Computer Application from International Institute of Professional Studies, Devi Ahilya University, Indore, India.

Bob Borchers | General Partner, Opus Capital

Bob is a mobile and consumer marketing veteran with more than 20 years operating experience, he comes to Opus Capital from Apple, Inc. where he served as Sr. Director of Worldwide Product Marketing for the iPhone. At Opus Borchers is focused on investments in mobile applications and services as well as adjacent opportunities in both hardware and software. As part of the original iPhone team, Bob was instrumental in the development, launch and global expansion of the revolutionary iPhone, iPhone OS, App Store. While at Apple he also led the Nike+iPod partnership, expanded the iPod accessory ecosystem, and forged relationships with every major auto company to provide iPod integration. Prior to Apple, Bob was Vice President of Marketing at FusionOne, a pioneer in creating and marketing mobility solutions. Bob also spent six years at Nokia where he co-founded and served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Vertu business unit. Before his career in the mobile industry, Bob worked for Nike, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon, where he led efforts in product and service personalization. He began his career doing research and development in prosthetics. Bob holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Masters Degree from a joint program between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard Medical School in Health Sciences and Technology. He has more than 30 patents granted or pending.


Ashish Gupta | General Partner, Helion Venture Partners

Ashish is a co-founder of Helion and serves on the boards of Anantara, Jigrahak Mobility, Kirusa, Komli, MuSigma, Naukri, and Virtual Synaptics. He has invested in over 35 companies in the US and in India. His investments include Daksh (IBM), Odesk, Obongo (AOL), Speedera (Akamai), Make My Trip, Merittrac, and Kaboodle (Hearst). Ashish co-founded and helped grow two successful companies; Tavant Technologies and Junglee (Amazon.com) that pioneered comparison shopping on the internet. Ashish has worked at Woodside Fund, Amazon.com, Oracle Corporation, and IBM Research. He has to his credit several patents, international publications, and a book by MIT press. He is a Kauffman fellow, the world's leading venture education program. He also holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree from IIT Kanpur, where he was awarded the President's Gold medal.


John Squires | Chief Executive Officer, Akademos

John Squires was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Akademos, Inc. in April 2011. Akademos offers a turnkey virtual bookstore and marketplace for small and midsized schools. Its advanced technology, comprehensive supply-chain solution, and commitment to responsive personal service make it a leader in providing affordable course materials and digital learning tools for schools. Squires was previously the founder of Next Issue Media, the digital publishing consortium joined by Conde Nast, Hearst, Meredith, News Corporation and Time Inc. Next Issue Media brought these companies together to develop publishing solutions for tablet reading devices. Prior to Next Issue Media, Squires served as executive vice president at Time Inc., where he was responsible for leading digital operations and overseeing Time, Fortune, Sports Illustrated, Money and Golf magazines. John holds a BA degree from the University of Washington.


Mani Subramanian | Founder and CEO, Fortisure Ventures

Mani Subramanian founded Fortisure Ventures LLC in January 2011 to identify and mentor early stage founders to build successful and enduring companies. With more than 40 years of experience in the global information technology industry, Mani has significant leadership, operations, marketing and sales expertise globally. Mani's entrepreneurial journey began in 1993 in the SF Bay Area when he founded Caritor (previously IT Solutions). In early 2007, when Caritor had presence in four continents with revenue of $150M, Mani architected a buy-out of Keane, making the combined entity a $1B company with over 12000 employees. Mani was the Chairman of Keane until the company was acquired by NTT Data in 2010. Mani also helped co-found Influence Software, a business intelligence company, jointly with Marv Mouchawar in 1996, which was acquired by Informatica (NASDAQ:INFA) in 1999. Prior to being an entrepreneur, Mani served as the President of Wipro Systems from 1989 to 1992, where he led Wipro through a strategic shift to IT services. Before joining Wipro, Mani was part of the top management team at Tata Consultancy Services. Mani is a mechanical engineer from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
