Microsoft India to Achieve Strong Online Brand Engagement with Jivox

Campaign Objective

Microsoft India partnered with Jivox to deliver an engaging online ad campaign experience to target IT professionals. Campaign objective was to “Establish a consistent presence in targeted IT Pro environments, driving the message that ‘Microsoft provides the range of technologies that best help companies save money and achieve their business goals today and tomorrow’ featuring MS Joint Business Launch, MS BIEB (Because It’s Everybody Business) , MS Visual Team System 2010, MS Office 2010 products.

Microsoft India also set an online user-engagement goal through their interactive video ad campaigns with Jivox. Microsoft’s interactive video ad campaigns were expected to drive consideration of the six must-win product scenarios via rich, custom opt-in online interactions such as click through to a campaign landing page, download a case study or a free product trial directly from the interactive video ad unit or drive targeted online users to blog posts by Microsoft experts.

Jivox Solution

The Ad Microsoft India wanted to deliver make a difference with highly engaging video ads. Jivox’s interactive video ad units were just what they were looking for. The video ad Microsoft wanted to utilize for the campaigns were unique in nature, the video ad started with the first frame showing a dancing clock and the video would roll only after user clicked on the clock and since they only wanted to measure how many users actually interacted with the ad.

“We asked the Jivox team to track the users’ first initial engagement with the video ad – termed it as ‘Click on Clock’.” said Sandeep Sabharwal, Media Director & Team Lead for Microsoft India account at Quasar Media. “And then, after users view the video ad, the second engagement was ‘Click to Landing Page’, the third engagement was ‘Click to Download Case Study’ directly from the video ad.”

Jivox was able to successfully deliver what Microsoft was looking for thanks to its flexible, fully customizable video ad player featuring unique interactivity widgets to drive direct response and brand engagement.

Jivox delivered the video ad campaign on the Jivox Video Network featuring India’s premium web sites - and exceeded Microsoft India’s campaign performance expectations.

Results

The Results “The campaign conversions were amazingly good. We saw that users who took the first step to initiate the video ad was 35%. Overall, we observed that case study downloads were happening at a consistent rate of more than 4%. The Jivox technology and analytics were unique and they provided complete transparency in reporting. The Jivox team is blessed with rich experience.
